The Super Bowl is coming up soon, and this year it will feature the Seattle Seahawks playing against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LX. Both teams had strong seasons and won their playoff games to earn a spot in the biggest football game of the year.

The current favorite, the Seattle Seahawks, from the NFC, led by head coach Mike McDonald are known for their tough defense and physical style of play. Throughout the season, they showed they can stop other teams and make big plays when it matters most. Their defense has helped them win important games such as the NFC Championship game shoutout 31-27 over the LA Rams and get to the Super Bowl. 

Seattle’s high flying offense led by quarterback Sam Darnold, halfback Kenneth Walker III, and Offensive Player of the year candidate receiver Jaxon Smith Njigba helped contribute to one of the most high scoring teams. 

The New England Patriots from the AFC are known for being the underdog all year long. They have been in many big games before and know how to handle pressure. The Patriots’ offense has been strong all season, helping them score points and win close games in the playoffs. Led by quarterback Drake Maye and their stifling defense with cornerback Christian Gonzalez, they have worked all year to get to 14 wins and a Super Bowl spot after only 4 in 2024.

As well, the Super Bowl is not just about football. Many people also watch the halftime show and commercials. This year, the show is being performed by latino artist Bad Bunny. Families and friends often get together to watch the game and enjoy the day.

With the Seahawks’ strong offense going up against the Patriots’ defense, this year’s Super Bowl should be exciting. Fans are looking forward to seeing which team will come out on top and win the 60th edition of the big game.
