Fast food is everywhere, but have you ever wondered what makes some fast food better than the rest? For chicken lovers, Chick-fil-A might just be the answer. Chick-fil-A is one of America’s most popular fast-food chains, known for their chicken, service, and traditional closing on Sundays. Founded in 1946 by S. Truett Cathy, Chick-fil-A began as a small town diner called Dwarf Grill in Hapeville, Georgia. Now there are over 3,350 locations across the United States. Texas leads with over 500 locations with Florida and Georgia following behind. Unlike most fast food brands which primarily use beef as their main product, Chick-fil-A is best known for their chicken based menu. Chick-fil-A offers a different variety of products from breakfast to dinner, and of course dessert.
Some of Chick-fil-A’s most popular items include the classic Chicken sandwich, the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, Chicken Nuggets, Waffle Fries, their unique sauces such as the Polynesian or Chick-fil-A sauce, and of course their freshly made lemonade. The menu also offers several different breakfast items including the Chicken Biscuit, Chick-Fil-A minis, and Hash Browns. For dessert they serve items like cookies and milkshakes. Although Chick-Fil-A is a fast food brand, they do offer different relatively healthy options like grilled chicken options, salads and wraps, as well as a kale crunch side. The chain is well known for their high-quality ingredients and friendly service which is highlighted compared to other brands in the fast food industry. With so many options, from a chicken sandwich to nuggets, fries, and delicious drinks, Chick-fil-A’s menu has something for every fast food fan.
The first item that we reviewed was the Spicy Chicken Sandwich, which did not disappoint. To begin, the sandwich was put in a type of insulating packaging, keeping the sandwich nice and warm than the usual cooled-down fast food meal. Moving on to the actual sandwich, featuring a soft, warm bun with a nice crispy, boneless chicken breast. Besides the chicken, recommended add-ons are limited, making the chicken the main focus. However, Chick Fil A provides a variety of extra toppings. One option is to put in pickles, personally, the pickles are not preferred. The chicken consists of a blend of spices and flavor, making it a nice choice to satisfy our hunger. The chicken is packed with juicy chicken, making it adequate to fill us up while keeping room for other items on the menu. Although we chose the white buttery bun, Chick Fil A offers another option of a multigrain bun. An alternative to the classic “Original Chicken Sandwich,” the spicy chicken sandwich puts forward an extra kick of flavor and enjoyment, pairing extremely well with more classic elements of Chick Fil A.
Next we tried the Chicken nuggets, which were just as good as the sandwich. Chick-fil-A offers a five count, eight count, twelve count, and thirty count nugget. They are described to be hand breaded with signature seasoning to keep the nuggets tender, juicy, and flavorful. The nuggets are crispy, and lightly seasoned, and taste good in any of Chick-fil-A’s sauces as well as ketchup. We recommend this meal for any picky eaters out there, as they are just simple chicken nuggets. Each bite has the perfect crunch and the same consistent flavor with any of the sauces. The high quality chicken can be tasted in every bite, if you’re looking for a consistent high quality taste, we totally recommend it. We also noticed that the chicken is quite consistent throughout the different items. If you like the Classic Chicken Sandwich already, the nuggets have the same flavor as the Classic Chicken Sandwich minus the bun and pickles. If you do prefer the nuggets but want the same sandwich and bread from the sandwich, Chick-fil-A offers a breakfast meal called the ‘minies’. The Minies are the chicken nuggets wrapped in the classic Chick-fil-A bun, a perfect mix of the two fan favorite meals. Overall the chicken nuggets meal is perfect for sharing or keeping all to yourself.

The next thing we reviewed was Chick-fil’A’s favorite side dish, the french fries! Chick-fil-A’s waffle-cut potato fries are described to be cooked in canola oil to achieve a perfect crisp inside and out, then sprinkled in sea-salt. They offer three different sizes: small, medium, and large. We reviewed the large waffle fries with three different sauces: ketchup, polynesian, and Chick-fil-A sauce. Although each sauce gave a different delicious taste, the fries kept the consistent salty crisp taste, as promised. We were surprised at this, because usually fast food fries aren’t consistent. Most are described to be crispy and salted too but turn out to be soggy and dry. Personally, if we were given the choice to crown the best fries in the fast food industry, we would definitely crown Chick-fil-A.
Collectively, both of us extremely enjoyed Chick Fil A’s classic menu items. We feel that it is one of the best franchises in the market. During a lifetime filled with different fast food restaurants, we would say Chick Fil A is one of the top selections out there. It’s a moderately priced menu with high quality food, making it irresistible for consumers. Along with its commitment towards customer service and quality chicken, Chick Fil A continues to raise the standards for the fast food industry. It offers something different to the market, a chick based menu, not a beef one. We are definitely fans of the motto “Eat Mor Chikin.”
