In 2025, I was introduced to many different types of restaurants, movies, albums, and went on vacations to places I’ve never been before. Some experiences were preferred more than others, but all of my experiences were very fun and will always be remembered. I’ll be talking about the best of what I’ve experienced.  

Best Vacation of 2025

In 2025, I went on many family vacations to different places but one in particular stood out to me. In July, I went to San Andres, Colombia with my parents and cousins. What I think that stood out to me the most was that I not only experienced many new environments throughout my trip, I got to experience it with my family. I went to many different islands in San Andres such as Cayo Aquario, Johnny Cay, and Cayo Bolivar. My 

favorite island out of the three was Cayo Aquario. It wasn’t specifically an island, but it was a marine park that is similar to a sand bar. The water is crystal clear and shallow, with many fish all over the place. It was filled with activities such as snorkeling, feeding the fish, and swimming with the stingrays. My personal favorite out of those activities was snorkeling. There were so many fish all over the place of different colors and species. The food was great there and so was the environment. The trip as a whole was amazing and I would definitely return if I ever get the chance.

Best Movie Watched of 2025

Out of all the movies I watched, I think the best one that I watched was The Perks of Being a Wallflower (2012). The movie was based on an actual book that was written and directed by Stephen Chbosky. The movie is semi-

autobiographical as the author/director added some parts that applied to his experiences in the past. I really enjoyed the movie as a whole, it had a message in the movie that applies to many people suffering with mental health today, and I think that it is really good that they add that. The movie is sad, with parts that are humorous, but it is beautiful as a whole.  

Best Restaurant in 2025

Out of all the restaurants that I went to in 2025, my favorite was La Lanterna in Yonkers. It is an Italian restaurant with huge portions. It is a fan favorite restaurant in all of Westchester and I’m surprised that I haven’t gone there earlier. 

I tried a variety of dishes with my family but my favorite was most likely the Vodka Parm. It’s chicken parm but with vodka sauce instead of marinara. My second favorite dish was the hot honey pizza. The vibe was very nice and cozy-like. There were so many people there eating when I got there, which meant the food was delicious and when it was my turn to eat, it really lived up to my expectations.

Best Album dropped in 2025

In my opinion, the best album dropped in 2025 was DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS by Bad Bunny. It became popular so quickly and there are many songs that became extremely popular in such a short amount of time. Everytime I listen to any of the songs on that album, it instantly reminds me of summer and I love music that reminds me of summer. My personal favorite would most likely be BAILE INoLVIDABLE, but all of the songs on the album are great. 

As I mentioned before, I went to Colombia and Bad Bunny was being played everywhere, especially his new album. That’s what made me start listening to it more, and I’m glad I did. Im excited to see him in the superbowl and can’t wait to see what new music he will release next.
